short but sweet: mirc 5.71 is out. old mcdonald had a farm... e-i-e-i-ooooooooo... awful song, nice site. ph33r the elian-shaped peanut. also ph33r the happy sperm soap. these are only a small sample of ebay, *the* place for purchaseable oddities. thanks to mannn for one of those links. webmasters should stop begging for money from their visitors' clicks on certain annoying banners... instead, they should put all those unwanted banners in a separate page... so only people who really want to donate something click on those banners... that's what i'll do if i ever become desperate and start signing up for those 'click here for 25 cents' programs. i hope that doesn't happen, though.

got an us robotics modem ? go check whether it can be upgraded or not. i received a warning from dave ewing about something really cool... 10 older midway arcade games (imho, the coolest ones are joust, rampage and rootbeer tapper) were kinda emulated (or simulated ? i dunno) using macromedia director 8. and high resolution is a must, according to what dave said. enjoy it now ! other thing everyone should learn... forwarding is not webhosting. please don't mix things up after i like you. and yet another thing everyone should learn: sys2064 usually is the first site to post those mame fixfiles, so there's no sense on looking for fixfiles elsewhere (unless sys2064 is down, or too slow for your connection (this time you can blame lev)). and... that thing that recently happened to ps2 games (at least ridge racer v) is a nice proof that virtually everything can be warezed. tell sony i said hi. hassle-free. this word's been used quite often lately and you'll see it again here. because that's how i define our newest forwarding url: hassle-free. many thanks to tanooki and everyone at iodized networks for this one. bookmark it: http://end.iodized.net heh, i introduce you a "how to webcopynews yourself" tutorial in two steps: step 1 and step 2. pay close attention to "my" tutorial, which was pretty "webcopynewsed". that's one of the reasons that make emulation become more and more... boring. repetitive. stupid (or even stupider). there's almost no fun on readin' the same piece of news on more than one website. with a few exceptions, creativity's going down the drain. and don't blame canada this time.

another sms emulator hits the scene, this one's called neosms and is said to have really nice compatibility, not to mention it's free of charge. give it a try ! i don't know if that emulator has gamegear support, but if it has, you can try those new gamegear roms released at ggftp.

nice news... a group of students (represented by cisco melvin) will attempt to resume the system16 emulator... that's a good lesson, teaching everyone that open source is the way to go ;) football (the american one, not soccer) seems to be the word of the day at genesis power. many sites mention sms power, but did they forget s8-dev ? honestly, i think i did for some time... :/ after sys2064 did this, i'd also like to announce a good piece of software called webwasher, very useful for filtering banners and similar shit when visiting lev-friendly websites. err, did i say lev ? oh... dave ewing told something useful to everyone... that the END of the web isn't right here. try this link, or maybe this one. END, in this site's case, stands for another thing.

sorry for the absence again, lots of problems going on, no further details will be announced so please don't ask. i have only a few new stuff to announce... updates to ex68 (which is being updated pretty often), ages (d00dz, please stop complaining that it's slow, if you want fast 32x performance go buy the real thing if you can ever find it), the only jap-to-eng pokemon gold translation i know of, and also an update to napamp, and a nice reaction by napster inc.

revenge of drancon is an extremely cool game. you'll see when visiting ggftp. the neogeo pocket emulator was updated and with two nice features: english language and sound !!! yes, now you'll be able to enjoy the sound of neogeo pocket games. hope it isn't as crappy as a gameboy's sound. you can grab the file at kinox. mame .37 beta 1 is out ! i don't remember playing any of the games mentioned in the new supported games list... go take a look at either vgn and emuviews to get it. viva las vegas... finally something very expected... a 32x emulator called vegas... which requires the 32x bios roms. the emulator and those roms (and many other 32x roms) can be found at the 32x roms palace. dboy reached a final version, i guess. wonder what's going on... more mappers, that's basically what's new in dreamnes 1.9 !
